APEX Transmissions at the MACH exhibition 2024
Situation
A leading supplier of engineering components required two ball screw and nut assemblies at immediate notice for a paper mill specialising in disposable paper products. In late January 2024, the APEX Transmissions team, located in Tamworth, received the urgent enquiry and promptly provided a quote for the required products.
Solution
After the existing samples were inspected and analysed, the assemblies were manufactured to sample. The parts were machined and completed within our standard 2–3-day lead time, after passing through our dedicated inspection area to ensure the highest quality. With our in-house machining capabilities, the parts were cut from stock, turned and milled to duplicate the customer sample. Every solution is customised to the application requirements, with no order too large or small.
Result
Following the delivery of the replacement parts, the paper mill resumed its processes due to our assurance of quality repeatability. We have also maintained a strong relationship with the re-seller network over several years, demonstrating our commitment to supporting and supplying the manufacturing industry with our knowledge and exceptional customer service.
Key Results
